2024年7月， 伊朗设立国家人工智能组织，推进人工智能领域技术发展。截至2025年，伊朗已经建成诸多科技园或科技小镇，如伊斯法罕科学技术城（进驻食品、农业、钢材制造、ICT、生化工业等 领域企业）、胡泽斯坦科技园（石油化工创新中心、信息技术中心等）、塞姆南科技园 （进驻约360家实体，包含ICT、生物技术、采矿、农业制造等）。根据法律规定，科技 型公司是指进行科技领域创新、开发、应用，并将研发成果（包括产品和服务的计划与 生产）商业化的公司，这类公司需要获得政府的批准。虽然政府鼓励人工智能产业发展，但伊朗的AI成果鲜少见报。

It must also be ensured that there is legal support for the transfers, so that the data that is transferred receives continued strong and equivalent protection when it is processed in a third country. The protection must therefore not become weaker when it is processed by subcontractors”, says Petra Wierup.
